This Saxophone Kills Fascists: Arrington de Dionyso returns on his one-of-a-kind, freeform tour across 60 US cities, fighting the tide of fascism through subversive art.

This performance is to present a contemporary iteration of spiritual free jazz in a politicized context - abstraction in music as a form of protest. Arrington incorporates Indonesian throat-singing with a variety of saxophones and clarinets, as well as Aztec and Indonesian flutes acquired through his extensive travels throughout South America and Southeast Asia, to present a unique, longform impovisational set.

For part of the set, Arrington will be joined by rabab player Qais Essar, West African-style percussionist Richard Bogen, and more to present an improvised intercultural music exchange.
