In-service teachers, aspiring teachers and university and school district members who work to improve education and develop educators are invited to sign up for We Teach Texas’ Day-One Ready Teachers, the annual SUPCE event presented by The College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in the University Center. The conference features keynote speaker Dr. Miranda Walichowski, Clinical Associate Professor of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University, who will deliver a presentation entitled “Your Coaching Presence is an Intervention: How to Refine and Sharpen Yourself to Effectively Coach Others.” The conference includes breakout sessions and Continuing Education Units (CEU). The conference is free, but education professionals and students must register online by April 20 to participate.
