First album from the band Key West. The album contains ten original songs, with lyrics primarily focused on living on the Gulf Coast. The band shows a heavy influence from recording artist Jimmy Buffett, and that is by no accident; songwriter and guitarist Jerry Diaz is a big fan of the "Margaritaville" man. The difference is that Key West puts a definite Texas spin on the material presented here. "Island Time" is a smooth and breezy rebellion against pagers, cell phones, fax machines, and other electronica, and features the hot acoustic guitar playing of guest John Inmon (Jerry Jeff Walker's guitarist). "I Dreamed of Jeannie" is a rock-n-roll reference to everyone's favorite television fantasies from the sixties, while "Sail Away" is a pop-influenced escapism tune. "At Mardi Gras" shows the band paying homage to a local genre of music known as zydeco, and features the accordion playing of the legendary Wayne Toups.
