Ishi is a high energy electronic band with influences of Soul, Funk, & Folk to Electro, Techno & House. They thrive on creating a positive atmosphere that encourages their audience to be themselves & let loose. The Dallas Observer has listed them as one of the top bands in North Texas and awarded them ‘Best New Act’ & ‘Best Electronic/Dance Act’ in 2010. In October 2012 Ishi experienced a dream come true by opening for legendary ‘new wave’ band New Order and has shared the stage with Of Montreal, New Order, XXYYXX, French Horn Rebellion, Friendly Fires, Marina and The Diamonds, Toro Y Moi, El Ten Eleven, and more.
