After selling his first puzzle professionally when he was just 14 years old, Will Shortz went on to design his own degree program in Enigmatology, the study of puzzles, at Indiana University. Now he's the Crossword Editor of the New York Times, Puzzle Master for NPR’s "Weekend Edition Sunday," and the author and editor of more than 500 puzzle books. Shortz, who was also the subject of the award-winning documentary "Wordplay," will share how crosswords are created, their curious history, and how his lifelong passion for puzzles began.
