This eclectic Tulsa Ballet sampler features highly acclaimed works by three of Europe’s most esteemed choreographers. "Classical Symphony," set to the Prokofiev symphony of the same title, is a contemporary work that appeals to fans of classical ballet. Yuri Possokhov created this piece in 2010. Set to two of Mozart’s most beautiful and popular piano concertos, "Petit Mort" was created by Jiří Kylián for the Salzburg Festival on the 200th anniversary of Mozart’s death in 1991. It’s a very contemporary, edgy ballet performed in bare feet. "Rooster" by Christopher Bruce has all the energy, humor and swagger you would expect from a ballet set to the music of the Rolling Stones!
