Tulsa Symphony celebrates Route 66 with the perfect soundtrack for a road trip along America's Main Street! Conducted by Ron Spigelman, the concert features a multimedia presentation with highlights from the 2,448 miles of the Mother Road as well as memorable music, including:Highlights from Kander and Ebb's CHICAGO, Aaron Copland's "Buckaroo Holiday" from RODEO, Gershwin's "Someone to Watch Over Me," excerpts from "OKLAHOMA!," W.C. Handy's "St. Louis Blues," Randy Newman's "The Big Race" from Disney/Pixar's CARS, Ferde Grofe's "Sunrise" from the GRAND CANYON SUITE, the opening fanfare from Richard Strauss' THUS SPAKE ZARATHUSTRA and Bobby Troup's "Get Your Kicks on Route 66."
