In Sanskrit, Shakti (Power) is the creative energy of the universe. It is said to exist in every movement that is within us and around us, and nothing captures the essence of movement like the art of dance. This show depicts powerful dances from India and other cultures. An ensemble featuring Indian Classical and Bollywood dancers will dazzle you with intense choreographic routines. The show also has salsa, hip hop, Chinese, Irish and belly dancers. These different styles will represent the concept of Shakti through exhilarating movements accompanied by heart-thumping music.
