Acclaimed pianist Jon Kimura Parker will perform Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 2 as the featured soloist at TSO’s Classics Series Gala Concert. Known for his passionate artistry and engaging stage presence, Parker has been hailed as “an insightful, energetic soloist” by The New York Times. Also on the program, conducted by Daniel Hege, are Brahms’ energetic Hungarian Dances No. 1 and No. 5 and Bartok’s colorful Miraculous Mandarin Suite.
