Every Thursday night in the North United Episcopal Church basement, seven people struggling with mental illness meet to offer each other support and talk through their problems. In the new play "Entr'acte," overweight Naomi, on probation Robby, teenage Katy, veteran Doug, stand-up comic Corgi, new grandmother Violet, and their guide Elliott discuss their tumultuous pasts, their tenuous futures, and where they exist now. "Entr'acte" takes an unflinching look at mental illness and the stereotypes surrounding it, exploring public perception, private wounds, and the difficulty of finding your place in a world that doesn't want to talk about you.
