Spinning Plates Productions presents the second in its series of Little Big Musicals, Dreamgirls in Concert. SPP president and producer Rebecca Ungerman cites the 2001 New York benefit production for the Actor's Fund, starring Audra McDonald and Lillias White, as one of the primary inspirations for the Little Big Musicals series. As with all shows in the series, Dreamgirls In Concert will feature the entire script and score of the Broadway show, performed in a concert setting. Andre Martin is music director. Machele Miller Dill, who directed the first Little Big Musical, The Color Purple in Concert, returns to direct a company of more than a dozen talented Tulsans, including Dionne White, LaToya Tillis, Briana Wright, Roderick Hudson and Nash Wayne McQuarters.
