Parker McCollum
Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Parker McCollum treats each song he writes with a painstaking level of dedication, reverence, respect and as he’ll readily admit, even a bit of obsession. In a three-part rollout, McCollum teased fans with his collections from his new album, PROBABLY WRONG, dropping SESSION ONE and SESSION TWO EPs before the November 10 release. The 10-track album features songs such as his current single, "I Can't Breathe" and "Misunderstood" along with two new tracks, including “Hell of a Year." PROBABLY WRONG follows the Austin-based performer’s successful debut, 2013’s THE LIMESTONE KID. McCollum notes his ultimate goal is to reinvent himself with each record he makes, saying, “it’s about changing with each record…if you can pull that off, well, that’s a pretty special thing.” McCollum is on tour now through the end of the year in support of PROBABLY WRONG.
Grant Gilbert
Grant Gilbert established his country music credentials in 2017 with his debut EP, “Lost in Transition,” and experienced success with his debut single, “On Guard” in subsequent years. On the outset of Gilbert’s career, he demonstrated traditional country leanings but refined his sound with a classic rock influence, well-founded melodies, and strapping guitar hooks. Gilbert’s version of the regional red dirt sound adjusts to his will and demonstrates an ability to cross over to a rock audience without a hitch, establishing him as an emerging paragon for the genre. Founded by Gilbert and life-long friend Dylan Price (guitar, vocals) out of Santo, Texas, the band burgeoned with the addition of Dakota Merida (bass), Gunner Driver (drums), and Morgan Baker (guitar, vocals) in a move to Lubbock, Texas. An elastic talent, Grant Gilbert and company remain a compelling band in concert and on record, showcasing musical prowess beyond their years. Look for Gilbert’s stand out single, “Part of You” April 2018 and the release of his debut, full-length album “Hub City Shakedown” in September.
