The National Museum of the Great Lakes is proud to work with the Maritime Archaeological Survey Team every year. We are pleased to announce and promote their annual dinner on April 28, 2018. This dinner is open to anyone who is interested. The dinner will take place at the Maumee Bay Lodge in Oregon, Ohio and tickets are $45.

Join new members of the Maritime Archaeology Survey Team at their annual meeting and dinner program.The dinner program on Saturday night is open to the public. It will be the annual meeting of the MAST membership, as well as an excellent presentation by Dr. John O’Shea, Curator of Great Lakes Archaeology at the University of Michigan Museum of Anthropological Archaeology (UMMAA), and the Emerson F. Greenman Collegiate Professor of Archaeology in the Department of Anthropology. He will be presenting “Prehistoric Archaeology at 120′ : Investigating 9,000 year old hunting sites beneath Lake Huron”, which will discuss his research into pre-historic crossings on the bed of Lake Huron.
