Who doesn’t love the Olympics? When a Jamaican sprinter is disqualified from his run in the Summer Games, he decides that the best route to gold and glory is a route you make up yourself. Assembling a couple other washed-out runners and a disgraced former coach, he decides to put together the first ever Jamaican bobsled team. Cool Runnings is a feel-good story of overcoming adversity, pushing through embarrassment and finding your own success through perseverance and pride instead of conventional prestige.
