Join us as we take a step back in time to Paris in the Belle Époque – a time of optimism and elegance, a time of impressionism and the can-can. The Opera Tampa Grand Gala, hosted by the Opera Tampa League, features a cocktail reception, a sumptuous dinner on Carol Morsani Hall stage, live and silent auctions, live entertainment and the presentation of the Anton Coppola Excellence in the Arts award.
This year’s award recipient is Paul Plishka, whose extraordinary voice and impeccable artistry combine to make him one of the world's foremost singers, praised by critics for his smooth, beautifully produced bass and polished dramatic skills. This distinguished American artist has become one of the most widely acclaimed and sought-after singers of our time.
Costume or creative black-tie attire encouraged.
