Mark Kozelek of Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon and Justin Broadrick of Godflesh and Jesu released their debut self titled album Jesu / Sun Kil Moon to critical acclaim on January 22, 2016, receiving high scores in Consequence Of Sound, Uncut, and Rock De Lux. The band supported the album with a short tour of sold out dates in Europe, NYC, and Asia this past February with the help of drummer Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth and Nick Zubeck. The album includes guest appearances including Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse, Rachel Goswell of Slowdive, members of Low, and Will Oldham. The band is currently working on a follow-up album entitled "30 Seconds To The Decline Of Planet Earth" to be released in 2017.
