On display concurrently with “Brendan Tang: Souvenirs from Earth,” Beautiful Soil will feature Chinese ceramics from various dynasties and spanning centuries, demonstrating the rich and diverse tradition of object-making in ancient China. These works come to University Galleries as a promised gift and highlight the collecting breadth of University Galleries’ holdings. A reception will be held at 5 p.m. Feb. 26. The exhibition runs through April 8.
