The Rockabilly event of the year comes to the Florida Theatre!
This hip, holiday extravaganza features Rev. Horton Heat performing his hits “Psychobilly Freakout,” “Cowboy Love,” Havana Moon,” “Motorhead,” and funky versions of George Jones’ cover “New Baby For Christmas,” and Gene Autry’s “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.”
The Blasters blend early rock and roll styling with punk rock and mountain music to create their original sound. Their songs “Marie Marie,” “So Long Baby” “Goodbye,” and their recent studio album, Fun on Saturday Night have earned them a loyal fan following.
Country guit- steele guitarist and singer Junior Brown (“Highway Patrol,” “My Wife Thinks You’re Dead”) blends rockabilly, honky-tonk country, hard rock, surf, mariachi, and other styles on his albums Long Walk Back, Semi Crazy and Mixed Bag. His music has various television series and movie soundtracks, including Me, Myself & Irene, SpongeBob SquarePants, and the 2005 Dukes of Hazzard remake.
Western swing king Big Sandy will also join in the for the holiday fun.
