To celebrate TUTS’ 50th Anniversary Season and the important role that Miller Outdoor Theatre has played throughout our history, we want to present a bigger, grander musical, a celebration of our community worth of the many great moments of TUTS history in 2019. Continuing a 50-year tradition of offering free professionally produced musicals at Miller Outdoor Theatre, TUTS presents Seussical, the enchanting Broadway musical that celebrates the wondrous imagination of Dr. Seuss.

Tony Award® winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Once on This Island, Ragtime) have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie, and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGarkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Seussical is fantastical fun for the whole family!

This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30 AM-1:00 PM. If tickets remain at 1:00 PM, the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets. As always, open seating on the hill. The show goes on rain or shine.
