Relay For Life was established in 1985 by Dr. Klatt who raised $27,000 for the American Cancer Society. From there, the cause was born and is now held nationwide, with more than 5,500 communities participating. The event is a unique celebration of life in honor and in memory of those whose lives have been touched by cancer.
