Proceeds from the event benefit the African American Museum and their mission of research, presentation and preservation of visual art forms and historical documents that relate to the African American Community. The rodeo features top cowboys and cowgirls competing in several events including the pony express relay race, steer wrestling, wild bull riding and more. The rodeo is one of the top events of the Juneteenth weekend.
