Music inspired by water is at the core of this program conducted by Eugene Tzigane. Experience Britten’s Four Sea Interludes and Smetana’s The Moldau, which evokes the flow of the Vltava River from its source in the mountains of the Bohemian Forest, through the Czech countryside, to the city of Prague. Debussy’s La mer offers a rich and evocative depiction of the underwater realm. Also, Maja Bogdanović will shine in Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto.
