This fall, the museum presents a special exhibition titled Wild Spaces, Open Seasons: Hunting and Fishing in American Art. In conjunction with the exhibition, we are inviting a panel of experts to discuss sustainability, local food sources, and environmental advocacy with museum curators Shirley Reece-Hughes and Maggie Adler.
Guests include Chef Marcus Paslay (owner of Clay Pigeon and Piatello), Reid Wittliff (advisory board member at the Texas Chapter of the Nature Conservancy and President of the Blanco Valley Wildlife Management Association); Becca Knutson (from the Tarrant County Food Policy Council and Community Garden Coordinator for the Tarrant Area Food Bank); and Rachel Richter (Urban Wildlife Biologist for Texas Parks and Wildlife).
