Admission Price: Free registration required
From the pages of a book to the silver screen, how did art shape the story behind the famous Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children? This spring’s book club features the popular novel that mixes fiction and photography in a thrilling reading experience. Author Ransom Riggs collects old photographs he finds at flea markets, which helped him create the characters and plot of this unusual story. John Rohrbach, Senior Curator of Photographs, will begin the evening with a short tour of the new photography exhibition With the Help of Friends. After the tour, we will discuss the themes of the book and how they connect to the works on view.
There are no events happening in the near future.
