The Islander Gallery is pleased to host a poetry reading by contributors to Switchgrass Review, a national journal of women’s health, history, and transformation, co-founded and edited by Dr. Robin Carstensen, Assistant Professor of English at The Island University. The journal is dedicated to raising awareness of women and girls with HIV and the health disparity of women in the Coastal Bend. This will be taking place on Thursday, March 21, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Islander Art Gallery, 4024 Weber Rd. This is free and open to the public.
