The Department of Art + Design at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will present a Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibition by MFA candidate Clarissa Gonzalez at the Islander Gallery. The opening reception is scheduled for Friday, March 20, from 6-8 p.m. The exhibition runs From Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27, and is free and open to the public. Gonzalez’s work, centered in the disciplines of printmaking, considers themes of abstraction in relation to the chaos that ensues by exploring the new and rediscovering the old, with a primary focus on the border or boundary.
