The Department of Psychology and Sociology at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will host a celebration of the 40th anniversary of its Master of Arts in Psychology program at 5 p.m. Monday, March 23, in the University Center Lonestar Ballroom. As one of the oldest master’s programs at the Island University, the program has graduated about 400 students in its 40 years. Alumni of the program have gone on to pursue clinical licensure, doctoral degrees, and provide valuable mental health services to the Coastal Bend region.
