Del Mar College Cultural Programs presents the Crossroads Project, a presentation grounded in science and elevated by art, with climate physicist Robert Davies and the Fry Street Quartet. Davies and the Quartet collaborate to create a combined lecture and musical performance that shares a message about climate change. The presentation includes live music and large-screen projections showing original works by painter Rebecca Allan and internationally-recognized environmental photographer Garth Lenz. Attendees will experience compelling, wondrous and forbidding images ranging from the boreal forests of Canada to the industrial sacrifice zones of China and from the depths of the ocean to the edge of the atmosphere.
