Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church is located at 540 Hiawatha Street in Corpus Christi, Texas. Founded by Father Raymundo Peña (Bishop Emeritus Raymundo Peña of the Diocese of Brownsville, Texas) on May 25th, 1969, the parish was first a mission which was established in 1951. Father James Farfaglia is our current pastor. After having founded and developed Saint Helena of the True Cross of Jesus Catholic Church, also in Corpus Christi, Texas, he was assigned by Bishop Michael Mulvey on July 1, 2011. Father James is assisted by Deacon Armando Botello and a very dedicated staff and volunteers.

Our parish family is a very close and loving community. We are comprised of 565 registered families with an approximate total of 2,260 parishioners and Sunday Mass attendees. Our people are very devout and very friendly.
