The main address will be presented by Dr. Roland Hernandez, Superintendent of Schools. Attendees will enjoy entertainment from CCISD students, and experience the “Hearts & Minds Showcase,” where campuses feature student achievement and teaching excellence.

Thanks to the generous support of past attendees, last year’s event raised more than $80,000 to give CCISD students new, one-of-a-kind educational opportunities. Proceeds from this year’s event will also support the efforts of the foundation, including annual “Grants for World Class Schools” which funded new programming in more than 100 CCISD classrooms last year alone.

The education foundation is requesting your partnership in 2016 as a State of the District event sponsor and 2016-2017 Partner for World Class Schools (one contribution, dual recognition as an event and year-round sponsor), or by purchasing individual tickets to attend this year’s event. Your support will help fund programs for CCISD classrooms, recognize student and teaching excellence, and enhance education to develop the hearts and minds of our students ― the future of Corpus Christi.
