WALTER TROUT PLANS TO CONTINUE TOURING
AFTER SUCCESSFUL RELEASE OF 2017 ALBUM,
“WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER”
Preparing for a nonstop year, Walter Trout does not plan to rest on his laurels following the success of
his 2017 release, ‘We’re All In This Together.’ Having survived a near-death bout with liver disease and
a liver transplant in 2014, he is now full of energy and joie de vivre, and wants to make every note,
every gig, and every day count.
‘We’re All In This Together’ features 14 of today’s most prominent musicians, including Joe Bonamassa,
Warren Haynes, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, John Mayall, Robben Ford, and Edgar Winter. The album
debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart and stayed in the Top Ten for over three months. It also
debuted at #2 on the Billboard New Artist Chart, and continues on both charts over 20 weeks out. In
addition, the album spent two weeks on the Billboard Current Albums Chart, where it peaked at #43.
The album was added to Apple Music’s popular Blues A-list playlist and has been streamed more than
one million times on Spotify. Not bad for a blues album! Walter has just received two Blues Music
Awards nominations for Best Rock Blues Album and Best Rock Blues Artist.
Walter and his band will tour extensively in 2018 on three continents. High profile US dates include an
Acura Main Stage appearance at the New Orleans Jazz Fest. International appearances include the
Byron Bay Bluesfest in Australia, Basel Bluesfest in Switzerland, and the International Blues Festival in
Grolloo, the Netherlands.
Walter has never felt more alive, thankful, and excited to perform. He is currently writing material for
upcoming releases and finds himself at a creative peak.
