Join the buffalo soldiers at Resaca De La Palma State Park as they transform into the historic Iron Riders. The 25th Infantry Buffalo Soldiers unit experimented with bikes for Army use during the late 1890s by conducting several rides to national parks and ending with a 2,000-mile ride from Fort Missoula to St. Louis. Join our modern day Buffalo Soldier living historians as they take you on a guided 8 mile bike ride to the beautiful Resaca De La Palma State Park.

Don't have your own bicycle? No problem!!
A limited number of adult bikes will be available through 7th & Park Cycles and coffee. Bike reservations are made directly through the bike shop: (956)202-0830.

The guided ride will begin at 10 am sharp.

Not interested in biking with the soldiers? No worries.

There will also be a small encampment set up in the park displaying the life of the buffalo soldiers with plenty of activities for the entire family.

Join us on the trail and be the one who has the best stories during the holiday season.
