Discover an array of dazzling butterflies in the park's butterfly garden.

Many different species of butterflies can be spotted in South Texas, usually unnoticed amongst all the wondrous habitat we have--that is till now! Join us as we seek out these flying wonders, some which you can only find in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.

Bring Water, closed-toed shoes and appropriate weather attire. Optional items: Sunscreen, bug spray, and cameras.

Meet: Check in at the Visitor Center and any pertinent instructions will be given at this time.

Regular park entrance fees apply ($4 per person; 12 years & younger are free). There is no extra fee for this program.

In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled.
