The Winter Texan Wednesday series welcomes Winter Texans from across the Rio Grande Valley to visit the museum. This special half hour to one hour will feature a mini-tour at a designated location within the Rio Grande Legacy exhibition followed by a short multimedia presentation. Staff and special guest speakers will led guests back in time to learn more about this region’s history, landscape and so much more.

This presentation will explore the history of conjunto music and its influence in South Texas culture. The tour will include a mini-tour within the special “Soy de Tejas” exhibit.
