On this day in 1967, Junior Service League Women officially founded the McAllen International Museum (MIM). We will have activities, including stories, games, and activities for kids and adults, music, food, and general good community fellowship. It is a time set aside for those with deep roots at the museum and for those who have only been here for a little while to join together
and celebrate the extraordinary story of those who came before us to make this place so special. The Founder’s Day Celebration is an event for the whole family.
