Ballet in the City presents the Fifth Year Anniversary of The Ashley Bouder Project. In 2014, Ballet in the City presented the World Premiere of The Ashley Bouder Project at Cleveland’s Playhouse Square. Ashley Bouder is a Principal Dancer of The New York City Ballet. She has performed on international stages and is the 2019 Benoise de la Danse Award winner. The premise of her Project is empowering female choreographers and composers. The 2019 Ashley Bouder Project will showcase choreographic works by Ms. Bouder and other legendary ballerinas. Ms Bouder will perform with fellow dancers of The New York City Ballet as well as some of today’s most promising young ballet talent.
